Employer Verification Requirements

How jobs.kn reviews employer accounts, company records, and listing responsibility.

jobs.kn reviews employer accounts and company records before showing verification indicators or clearing company review items. Verification helps keep job listings tied to real employers, authorized account holders, and clear contact points for applications.

jobs.kn is a job-listing and application platform. Employers remain responsible for their job listings, application review, applicant communications, hiring decisions, and legal compliance.

What Employer Verification Means

Employer verification is a platform review of the company information and account details supplied through jobs.kn.

Verification may confirm that the information supplied during review was sufficient for jobs.kn to approve the company record at that time.

Verification is based on information available at the time of review and may be changed, revoked, or re-reviewed.

Verification does not mean jobs.kn endorses an employer, guarantees a job listing, guarantees an application outcome, or makes hiring decisions for an employer.

Public-Source Company Pages

Some company pages or job listings may be created from publicly available employer-linked sources before an employer account is verified or claimed. Those pages are treated as public company pages unless jobs.kn confirms employer account ownership or authorization.

A public company page does not mean the employer has created an account, claimed the page, approved the listing, or endorsed jobs.kn.

Information We Ask Employers To Provide

When an employer account is created, we ask for:

  • company name;
  • account holder name;
  • work email address;
  • account holder job title, where provided;
  • confirmation that the person creating the account is authorized to do so;
  • agreement to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and these verification requirements.

After signup, employers may be asked to complete or update their company profile and verification details, including:

  • official company name;
  • company description;
  • website;
  • careers page URL, where available;
  • main hiring location;
  • industry;
  • company size, where provided;
  • logo, where uploaded;
  • employer brand or workplace summaries, where provided;
  • verification contact name;
  • verification contact email;
  • verification notes explaining identity, ownership, authorization, or special context;
  • hiring contact name, title, and email, where provided;
  • default job location and employment type.

What We Review

During review, jobs.kn may check:

  • whether the company name appears genuine and consistent with the supplied profile;
  • whether the website or careers page appears connected to the company;
  • whether the location, industry, and company description are complete enough for public display;
  • whether a verification contact name and email are present;
  • whether a hiring contact email is present for job or application follow-up, where applicable;
  • whether the employer account is linked to the correct company workspace;
  • whether any submitted jobs appear connected to the company;
  • whether job listings appear genuine, clear, and appropriate for the platform;
  • whether there are signs of impersonation, misleading information, abuse, spam, or unauthorized brand use.

We may also review support tickets, reports, security logs, job history, imported job context, or other platform records where needed to protect users and the integrity of the platform.

Verification Statuses

Company records may move through these statuses:

  • Draft: company information exists, but review information has not been submitted or is incomplete.
  • Submitted: the employer has submitted company review information.
  • In Review: jobs.kn is actively reviewing the company record.
  • Needs Info: more information is needed before a decision can be made.
  • Approved: the company record has passed review. Approval is not an endorsement or guarantee.
  • Rejected: the company record did not pass review or cannot be approved based on the available information.

If information changes, jobs.kn may re-review a company record or update its verification status.

What Can Delay Or Prevent Approval

Review may be delayed or declined if:

  • required company or verification contact information is missing;
  • the company name, website, location, or job details appear inconsistent;
  • the account holder's authority to create the employer account is unclear;
  • the company appears to be impersonating another organization;
  • job listings appear fake, misleading, unlawful, expired, or mainly intended to collect personal information;
  • the company cannot provide enough context for jobs.kn to understand who is responsible for the listing;
  • platform security, abuse, spam, or moderation concerns are present.

Employer Responsibilities

Employers are responsible for:

  • providing accurate company information;
  • keeping verification and hiring contacts current;
  • publishing only genuine job opportunities;
  • making sure job listings are accurate and lawful;
  • reviewing applications they receive;
  • communicating with applicants;
  • making their own hiring decisions;
  • complying with employment, privacy, immigration, tax, licensing, and workplace laws.

Updates And Follow-Up

jobs.kn may ask for updated information, clarification, or supporting context before approving or re-approving a company record.

Employers can update company profile details, verification contacts, and verification notes from the employer settings area when available.

For questions about employer verification, contact jobs.kn through the support tools available on the platform or email [email protected].
