2. Nature of the Platform
jobs.kn is an online job-listing, application, communications, data-processing, and employer visibility platform serving St. Kitts and Nevis.
The Platform enables employers to advertise job opportunities and enables job seekers to discover, review, save, and apply for those opportunities.
869 DOT DESIGN provides hosting, publishing, application-transmission, communications, moderation, support, verification, and related technology services.
jobs.kn and 869 DOT DESIGN do not:
- act as an employer;
- act as a recruiter, recruitment agency, staffing agency, employment agency, placement service, labour broker, headhunter, or professional employer organization;
- act as an agent of any employer, candidate, job seeker, or applicant;
- procure, engage, hire, supply, place, or provide workers for employers;
- source, screen, shortlist, vet, recommend, select, rank, or match candidates on behalf of employers;
- negotiate employment terms, compensation, benefits, or work conditions;
- make or participate in hiring decisions;
- guarantee job availability, interviews, offers, salaries, benefits, work permits, employment outcomes, or external application outcomes.
Any employment relationship formed through use of the Platform exists solely between the employer and the candidate.
Employers remain solely responsible for reviewing applications, communicating with applicants, conducting interviews, making hiring decisions, verifying eligibility to work, and complying with applicable employment, immigration, tax, licensing, and workplace laws.
3. No Placement Service or Worker Fees
jobs.kn does not charge candidates or job seekers for applying to jobs.
jobs.kn does not sell candidate contact information as an employment-finding service.
Any current or future employer-side fees are for platform access, job visibility, job advertising, software features, account tools, or related technology services. They are not placement fees, worker-finding fees, success fees, or fees for the procurement, supply, or hiring of workers.
4. Eligibility
You may use the Platform only if:
- you are at least eighteen (18) years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction;
- you have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
- you provide accurate information;
- you comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
You may not use the Platform if you have previously been suspended, restricted, or prohibited from using it.
5. Accounts and Security
Certain features require an account.
You agree to:
- provide accurate, complete, and current information;
- maintain the security of your account credentials;
- keep your email address current;
- notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach.
You are responsible for activity occurring under your account.
We may require identity verification, email verification, company verification, ownership verification, authorization checks, or additional information at any time.
We may approve, reject, suspend, restrict, or revoke account access where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, moderation, operational integrity, verification, fraud prevention, or protection of users.
6. Candidate Accounts and Applications
Candidates and job seekers may use the Platform to:
- browse and search jobs;
- save jobs;
- create and maintain profiles;
- add education, skills, experience, certifications, documents, and related information;
- communicate with employers where enabled;
- submit applications through Platform workflows;
- apply externally through employer application systems where applicable.
Certain features, including Quick Apply, may require email verification and completion of an application-ready profile.
By submitting an application through the Platform, you authorize jobs.kn to:
- process and store your application information;
- transmit your application information, profile details, answers, documents, and related materials to the named employer and its authorized hiring personnel;
- display relevant profile and application information to the employer connected with the job;
- maintain records necessary for support, moderation, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, audit, dispute resolution, and enforcement of these Terms.
Where a job uses an external application system, you may be directed to the employer's own careers page, employer application system, or other third-party application destination. In that case, your application may be submitted directly to that third party and may be governed by that third party's own terms and privacy practices.
jobs.kn may log outbound external application handoffs for platform operations, support, security, auditability, and abuse-prevention purposes, but an outbound handoff does not by itself create a jobs.kn application record.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and appropriateness of information you provide.
Submission of an application does not guarantee:
- employer review;
- employer response;
- interview invitations;
- job offers;
- employment;
- work permits;
- visa approvals;
- any particular hiring outcome.
7. Candidate Profiles
The Platform may allow candidates to create profiles for applications, messages, saved jobs, and account workflows.
Candidate profile information may be shared with employers when a candidate applies for a job or communicates with that employer through the Platform.
Employers may only use candidate profile information for genuine application review, hiring consideration, and job-related communications.
jobs.kn does not represent that any candidate profile is complete, verified, suitable, available, or legally eligible for any role.
8. Employer Accounts
Employers represent and warrant that they:
- are authorized to act on behalf of the organization they represent;
- have authority to create an employer account and publish job opportunities;
- will provide accurate company information;
- will publish only genuine job opportunities;
- will comply with applicable employment, privacy, anti-discrimination, consumer protection, immigration, tax, licensing, and other applicable laws;
- will not misuse candidate or applicant information.
Employer accounts may require company verification before access to certain features.
Verification confirms only that information supplied during the verification process satisfied our review requirements at the time of review, unless expressly stated otherwise. Verification is not an endorsement, certification, guarantee, warranty, or representation regarding the employer's future conduct, legitimacy, financial condition, workplace practices, job listings, legal compliance, or hiring decisions.
We may approve, reject, revoke, or re-evaluate verification status at any time.
9. Employer Responsibility for Jobs and Hiring Decisions
Employers are solely responsible for:
- job listings they submit or approve;
- the accuracy of job descriptions;
- compensation, benefits, and workplace information;
- application review;
- applicant communications;
- interviews;
- assessments;
- background checks where lawful;
- offers;
- hiring decisions;
- work-permit or immigration requirements;
- employment relationships;
- compliance with applicable laws.
Employers represent and warrant that:
- advertised positions genuinely exist;
- job information is materially accurate and not misleading;
- compensation information, where provided, is not intentionally misleading;
- job listings comply with applicable law;
- job listings do not infringe third-party rights;
- they will not discriminate unlawfully;
- they will not misuse candidate or applicant information.
Employers must not publish:
- fake or deceptive jobs;
- unlawful opportunities;
- scam, pyramid, or fraudulent schemes;
- opportunities intended primarily to collect personal information;
- misleading compensation, benefits, location, work-permit, or employment terms;
- jobs that misrepresent the identity of the employer;
- content that infringes third-party rights;
- content that violates applicable law.
10. Work Permits, Immigration, and Local Advertising Requirements
Employers are solely responsible for determining whether any role, candidate, job advertisement, work permit, immigration process, or local advertising requirement complies with applicable law.
jobs.kn does not provide immigration advice, legal advice, work-permit advice, or employment-law advice.
Publication of a job on jobs.kn does not guarantee that the advertisement satisfies any legal, immigration, work-permit, licensing, labour, or regulatory requirement.
Where employers use jobs.kn as part of an advertising record, jobs.kn may retain operational records such as publication dates, edit dates, pause dates, expiry dates, job status, and posting account details for support, audit, security, compliance, and business-record purposes.
11. Job Review and Publication
All job listings may be subject to review.
Submission of a listing does not guarantee publication.
jobs.kn may:
- approve or reject listings;
- request clarification or supporting information;
- require employer verification;
- modify formatting or presentation;
- correct obvious formatting issues;
- pause, quarantine, unpublish, expire, or remove listings;
- label listings as external, imported, expired, featured, sponsored, or otherwise as appropriate.
Employer-submitted jobs are not publicly visible until approved, unless the Platform expressly provides otherwise.
Material edits to published jobs may require additional review before republication.
Published jobs generally stop accepting applications after thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated.
Expired jobs may remain publicly visible for informational, archival, transparency, fraud-prevention, compliance, support, or historical purposes.
12. Imported and External Job Listings
The Platform may display job listings provided by employers, public sources, employer websites, employer career pages, employer application systems, employer-operated job portals, public job sources, feeds, APIs, and other third-party sources.
Imported or external listings may be copied, summarized, abridged, reformatted, categorized, linked, or otherwise adapted for display on jobs.kn.
Imported or external listings may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, formatting errors, stale opportunities, missing information, broken links, or incomplete details.
jobs.kn does not guarantee:
- the accuracy of imported or external listings;
- that positions remain available;
- that employers are actively reviewing applications;
- the completeness of imported information;
- the identity or authority of the original poster;
- salary, benefits, location, or work conditions;
- the availability or operation of external application systems;
- the outcome of any external application.
Publication of an imported or external listing does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, verification, certification, approval, or guarantee by jobs.kn.
Unless explicitly stated, jobs.kn is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the employer connected with an imported or external listing.
Where a listing redirects users to a third-party website, employer careers page, employer application system, or other application destination, applications are submitted directly to that third party.
jobs.kn is not responsible for third-party websites, external application systems, employer systems, privacy practices, content, availability, security, decisions, communications, or outcomes.
Use of third-party websites and services is at your own risk.
13. Source Labels and Listing Status
jobs.kn may display source labels, external-application labels, last-updated information, listing-status information, expiry status, or similar indicators.
These indicators are provided for convenience and may not always be complete, current, or error-free.
A "live", "active", "updated", or similar label does not guarantee that a job remains available, that the employer is accepting applications, or that an application will be reviewed.
14. Quick Apply and Application Transmission
Where Quick Apply or similar Platform application tools are available, the candidate initiates the application.
By using Quick Apply, the candidate authorizes jobs.kn to transmit application data, profile details, application answers, documents, and related materials to the named employer and its authorized hiring personnel for the purpose of application review and job-related communications.
Where a job uses an external application system, the candidate may be directed to the identified external destination to complete the application.
jobs.kn may log the outbound handoff, but the employer or third-party site handles the external application itself.
Employers are responsible for reviewing applications and making hiring decisions.
jobs.kn acts as a technical platform for application submission, storage, communication, and transmission. jobs.kn does not screen, select, recommend, shortlist, rank, match, recruit, place, or hire candidates on behalf of employers.
15. Messaging and Communications
The Platform may provide communication tools between employers and candidates.
Users remain solely responsible for content they send, receive, or publish.
Messages may be stored, reviewed, investigated, disclosed, or retained where reasonably necessary for:
- moderation;
- support;
- abuse prevention;
- fraud investigations;
- legal compliance;
- dispute resolution;
- platform security;
- enforcement of these Terms.
Users must not use communication systems to harass, threaten, intimidate, deceive, spam, impersonate, defraud, or abuse others.
jobs.kn does not guarantee that any message will be delivered, read, answered, or acted upon.
16. Candidate Information and Employer Data-Use Obligations
Employers receiving candidate or applicant information through the Platform agree to:
- use candidate information only for genuine hiring consideration and job-related communications;
- maintain confidentiality of candidate information;
- limit access to personnel who reasonably need access for the relevant hiring process;
- implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards;
- comply with applicable privacy, employment, anti-discrimination, security, and recordkeeping laws;
- take reasonable steps to keep candidate information accurate, complete, and up to date for the employer's hiring process;
- notify jobs.kn promptly if the employer becomes aware of unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, misuse, or security compromise involving candidate information received through the Platform;
- correct, delete, anonymize, restrict, or securely retain candidate information where reasonably required by applicable law, a valid request, the employer's own retention obligations, litigation holds, audit needs, or legitimate business records.
Employers must not:
- sell candidate information;
- rent or trade candidate information;
- disclose candidate information without authorization;
- create unrelated marketing databases from candidate information;
- use candidate information for non-hiring purposes;
- contact candidates for unrelated commercial promotions;
- scrape or bulk-export candidate information except through approved Platform functionality;

Employers are solely responsible for their handling of candidate information after receiving it.
