Job Description
The Cafeteria Cook prepares and cooks food for service at St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino in Frigate Bay, St. Kitts. Responsibilities include portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, and storing ingredients; preparing cold foods; and cooking according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists. The role involves operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; testing food for doneness; monitoring quality; checking appliance and food temperatures; setting up and breaking down the workstation; and serving correct portions in the appropriate receptacles. The cook also cleans and disinfects the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
