Job Description
The Cook role at St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino in Frigate Bay, St. Kitts involves preparing ingredients and cooking food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists. Duties include portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients; preparing cold foods; operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers; checking food and appliance temperatures; monitoring quality; and serving proper portions. The position also includes setting up and breaking down the workstation, cleaning and disinfecting kitchen areas, tools and equipment, and following company, safety and security procedures. The Cook reports maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions, completes required safety training and certifications, maintains a clean and professional appearance, protects confidential information and company assets, and supports positive teamwork and service standards. The work may require standing, sitting or walking for extended periods, bending and reaching, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
