Job Description
The Baker prepares and cooks food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists at St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino in Frigate Bay. Responsibilities include measuring, portioning, chopping, storing, and preparing ingredients; using baking equipment safely; monitoring food portions and quality; and checking kitchen and food temperatures, reporting any issues to management. The role involves following food-safety, hygiene, sanitation, cleaning, safety, and security procedures. Duties also include maintaining and sanitizing work areas, setting up and breaking down the workstation, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions, supporting team goals, communicating professionally, and completing other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors. The position requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods; moving across uneven or slippery surfaces; reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping; and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Less than one year of related work experience is listed, and no supervisory experience is required.
