Job Description
This Head Baker (Supervisor) role with St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino in Frigate Bay, Saint Kitts is a full-time position focused on supervising cooks and workers, coordinating kitchen activity, and helping maintain food presentation and quality standards. Key duties include determining how food should be presented, creating decorative displays, ensuring proper portions and garnishes, monitoring food quantity and kitchen stock, informing Food & Beverage service staff about specials and out-of-stock items, preparing special meals or substitute items, supporting kitchen staff, and maintaining kitchen logs for food safety and food products. The role also involves assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees. Preferred qualifications include a technical, trade, or vocational school degree, 4 to 6 years of related work experience, and at least 2 years of supervisory experience; no license or certification is required.
