This Plumber role with St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino in Frigate Bay, Saint Kitts is a full-time position focused on maintaining and repairing commercial plumbing systems. The work includes fixing minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains, assembling pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, testing pipes and fixtures for leaks, reviewing blueprints, building codes, and specifications, and installing and maintaining pipe assemblies, valves, appliances, and fixtures. The position also calls for miscellaneous minor repairs, preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, and consistent adherence to company, safety, and security policies. The role includes welcoming guests to company standards, communicating professionally, maintaining positive working relationships, and meeting quality expectations. Physical duties include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, climbing ladders, and standing or walking for extended periods. Requirements include 2 to 4 years of commercial plumbing experience, plumbing certification, with a plumber’s license considered an asset, blueprint reading and basic drawing preparation, willingness to work various shifts, the ability to train and develop a plumbing team, hospitality experience as an asset, team leadership skills, and basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and spreadsheets.
