Job Description

This Room Care Technician role with St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino in Frigate Bay, Saint Kitts is a full-time engineering position focused on keeping the hotel’s guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems working safely, reliably, and efficiently. The work includes routine and preventative maintenance on guest room appliances, lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other building infrastructure, along with diagnosing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other issues. It also covers emergency response to problems such as power outages and leaks, accurate recordkeeping for maintenance, inventory, and repairs, communication with guests and staff, collaboration with other departments, and support for safety and sustainability initiatives. The hotel is seeking proven building maintenance and repair experience, strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, knowledge of safety practices, and the ability to work independently and in a team. CMMS experience is often preferred, as is hospitality experience, and a relevant certification or trade license may be required.
