Job Description
The Restaurant Chef (Manager) leads kitchen staff and manages food-related operations at St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino in Frigate Bay. This full-time role focuses on producing consistent, high-quality food while supporting guest and employee satisfaction and maintaining the operating budget. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen shifts, coordinating cooks and food-preparation workers, preparing and cooking food for regular service and special functions, and assisting the Executive Chef with kitchen operations. The role also involves developing and guiding staff, maintaining productivity and teamwork, checking the quality and presentation of food, and ensuring compliance with food handling, sanitation, temperature, purchasing, receiving, storage, and Food & Beverage standards. The Restaurant Chef (Manager) leads by example, communicates with employees, gathers feedback, and helps maintain required food-handling and sanitation certifications.
