Job Description
The Accountant - Nevis role with TDC in Pinney’s, Nevis is responsible for preparing monthly management accounts for multiple departments and subsidiaries. The position supports accounting activity for areas such as Home & Building Depot, Automotive Division, SKMP, TDC Rentals, E-commerce, Purchasing, TDC Real Estate, Conaree Estates, and Sakara Shipping. Key responsibilities include preparing accounts and notes, updating bank and stock reconciliations, reviewing expenses and VAT, calculating handling charge revenue, preparing schedules, processing cheques and wire transfers, investigating clearing accounts, reconciling intercompany balances, and circulating daily bank summaries. The role also includes back-up accounting duties across several TDC business areas. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, excellent written and communication skills, strong teamwork skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Previous bookkeeping experience and experience using accounting software would be assets. The role may require sitting, standing, moving around the facility, and working extended hours when needed to complete assigned tasks.
