Job Description

This full-time Inventory Clerk position with TDC in Saint George Basseterre, St. Kitts focuses on verifying stock, investigating inventory issues, confirming physical inventory, and helping maintain accurate computerized stock balances. Working hours are split between the stock room and sales floor. Duties include reviewing and investigating the daily negative report, performing random spot checks, verifying stock counts, and investigating and recounting inventory variances to confirm accuracy. The position also involves ensuring items are barcoded and stored in the proper locations, assisting with stock counts, entering stock information into the SPRUCE database, and tracking orders, returns, and supplies. Additional responsibilities include assisting with delivery desk operations and pick ticket distribution when needed, as well as supporting sales clerks with labeling, pricing, stocking shelves, and serving customers. The Inventory Clerk is also expected to maintain a high level of customer service, keep the workstation clean, and carry out other necessary duties. Applicants should have successful passes in at least six CXC subjects, including English, Accounts, and Mathematics. Retail and/or inventory experience is preferred, and the source lists 1–3 years of work experience.
