Job Description

This Veterinary Clinical Pathology Faculty role at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, St. Kitts is a full-time faculty position within the Biomedical Sciences Department. The successful candidate will join the pathology team and contribute to clinical pathology teaching in the DVM program, reporting to the Head of the Biomedical Sciences Department. Responsibilities include teaching professional veterinary students, providing diagnostic clinical pathology services to the Ross University Veterinary Clinic, contributing to institutional research output, and mentoring at least one pathology trainee. The role may also include other duties assigned by the Department Head. Applicants should have a DVM or equivalent degree and board certification or board eligibility in veterinary clinical pathology through ACVP or ECVP. Experience teaching professional veterinary and graduate students is required, and an MS or PhD is highly desirable. Candidates should be able to develop an independent or collaborative research program aligned with RUSVM’s focus areas, publish in appropriate journals, supervise postgraduate students, and demonstrate strong organizational, written, oral communication, motivational, collegial, and collaborative skills.
