Job Description

This full-time Electrician role with St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino in Frigate Bay, Saint Kitts focuses on assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. Responsibilities include inspecting and diagnosing faulty tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components; connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other parts; using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes; testing batteries in generators and emergency lighting; planning installations to meet job specifications and National Electric Code and local codes; reading blueprints and schematics; responding to repair requests; performing preventive maintenance; and maintaining inventory of parts and supplies. The role also requires following company and safety policies, reporting maintenance issues and hazards, completing safety training and certifications, protecting confidential information and company assets, and working professionally with guests and coworkers. It includes welcoming guests, assisting individuals with disabilities, and communicating clearly. Preferred qualifications are a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree and at least 2 years of related work experience; no supervisory experience is required.
