Job Description
This full-time Accountant role with TDC in Saint George Basseterre supports St Kitts Masonry Products Ltd by preparing its accounts and related finance records. Core duties include completing monthly accounts and notes for review by the 8th working day and circulating them by the 10th, updating bank reconciliations daily and finishing them by the 3rd working day each month, sending the daily bank summary by 9:00 a.m., completing intercompany sales and purchases by the 20th, and preparing cheques and wire transfer payments as needed. The role also covers backup accounting work such as reconciling intercompany trade receivables, VAT, corporate credit card statements, loan statements, and other listed accounts; updating FCIB EC reconciliation, auto division stock, expenses and VAT; calculating Automotive Division handling charge revenue; and preparing VAT allocation. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, and experience with accounting software and bookkeeping would be an asset.
