Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for preparing the accounts of St Kitts Masonry Products Ltd. Main duties include completing monthly accounts and accompanying notes, updating bank reconciliations daily, circulating daily bank summaries, completing intercompany sales and purchases, and preparing cheques and wire transfer payments. Backup responsibilities include reconciling intercompany trade receivables clearing accounts, VAT accounts, withholding tax provisions, corporate credit card statements, and loan statements against the general ledger. The role also provides backup support for bank reconciliations, VAT revisions, and TDC Real Estate intercompany transactions. For the Automotive Division, backup duties include preparing monthly accounts and notes, calculating and billing handling charges to subsidiaries, investigating bank and credit card clearing items, reconciling stock, and updating expenses and VAT. The position also provides backup support for quarterly VAT allocations. Duties follow specified daily, monthly, and quarterly deadlines. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
