Job Description
The Cleaner/Attendant helps maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic store environment for TDC in Basseterre, St. Kitts. This full-time role is typically shift-based and covers cleaning and sanitizing shelves, offices, lunchrooms, and restroom facilities across the building. Day-to-day duties include disinfecting restrooms, replenishing and monitoring bathroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap, dusting furniture and equipment, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning walls and woodwork, and following safety policies when using cleaning chemicals. The role may also support store operations by assisting with sales activities and covering for absent staff when needed. The work can involve bending, walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting or moving up to 25 lbs. The position calls for one year of related experience, a flexible attitude, high school equivalent education, and previous working experience in a similar area. CXC subjects are a plus.
