Job Description

This Collateral and Securities Officer role with TDC in Saint George Basseterre is a full-time position centered on managing collateral-related work and helping protect the organization’s physical and financial assets. It combines collateral administration, risk review, compliance monitoring, and the use of security protocols to help safeguard assets and reduce risk. The position includes assessing and managing collateral for loans and financial transactions, keeping supporting records current, and maintaining items such as renewal insurance premiums and copies of annual receipts for land and house taxes. It also covers timely renewal of Bills of Sale at the five-year mark, renewal of property appraisals for properties valued at 270,000.00 and above five years after first issuance, accurate collateral documentation and valuation, regular audits, and reporting on collateral positions for management. In addition, the role calls for risk assessments, identification of vulnerabilities, and measures to address them while staying aligned with regulatory and internal policy requirements. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field is required, along with familiarity with regulations related to collateral and securities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication, good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency with relevant software and technology tools are also needed.
