This full-time Customer Service Representative role with TDC in Saint George Basseterre, St. Kitts, supports policy servicing and underwriting activities. Responsibilities include collecting and recording underwriting information, preparing quotations, providing customer service in person or remotely, completing proposal forms for authoriser review, maintaining accurate client profiles, and following up on outstanding documentation. Quotations must be followed up within three working days. The role includes issuing authorised policy and renewal documents, processing correspondence and instructions with supervisor or manager approval, assigning and completing registry records, and recording all communications in the Underwriter system. Staff and customer information must be handled confidentially. The representative also scans and uploads documents, assists customers with policy changes, and explains the purpose of issued insurance documentation. Additional duties include updating renewals under management instructions, sending renewal notices and listings eight clear weeks before the renewal date, managing reminders and alerts, and supporting underwriting transactions, renewals, and new business applications. The role also ensures that system follow-ups are reconciled. Applicants should have a minimum of five CXC passes or a diploma, with numeracy and literacy skills. The job description requires at least two years of experience in a customer-facing role and the ability to assist customers courteously and resolve renewal issues efficiently. The successful candidate must complete the CII Award in Insurance within one year and the CII Certificate in Insurance within two years.
