Investment Manager

Job Description

The Investment Manager will manage and develop strategies for TDC’s overall investment portfolio in Saint George Basseterre, St. Kitts. The role includes meeting with fund managers, analyzing investments and strategies, researching opportunities, recommending portfolio changes to manage risk and support acceptable returns, and providing investment information and financial advice on products such as stocks, bonds, and shares. Key responsibilities include overseeing securities and asset transactions, developing fund policies and risk-based asset allocation models, monitoring and reevaluating portfolios, preparing monthly reports for Investment Committees, conducting company and industry research, building broker relationships, assessing investment opportunities with analysts, using financial models to project earnings, and responding to regulatory inquiries. The Manager will also monitor regulatory and tax changes, assess investment managers’ adherence to strategy, meet with investors, and present recommendations. Applicants should have a Bachelor of Science in Finance or a related field; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred. The position requires 5–10 years of experience in the same or a similar role, along with analytical, communication, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, networking, customer service, and multitasking skills.
