Job Description

This full-time Sales Representative role with TDC at Home & Building Depot in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis is focused on working outside the office, identifying potential sales leads, and bringing new business to the department. The position reports to the Senior Manager. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining strong customer service for internal and external customers, spotting sales opportunities, meeting customers to market and sell products and services, building professional relationships, visiting job sites daily to secure orders, checking product availability with store staff, answering customer questions, advising on product selection and use, resolving issues promptly, and helping ensure deliveries are completed in a reasonable time. The role also includes preparing job status reports, assisting with stock counts and deliveries when needed, keeping vehicles in good condition, and submitting weekly sales reports to management and the Senior Manager. Applicants should have five CXC subjects including Mathematics, English, Accounts, and Information Technology, at least two years of experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role, the required licence to operate the assigned vehicle, and at least two years of driving experience. The role also calls for willingness to learn the products and services being sold, polite and customer-focused conduct, strong detail, documentation, teamwork, communication, organization, and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications.
