Job Description

This Senior Accountant role with TDC in Saint George Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis is a full-time position focused on management accounts, account reviews, payables, reconciliations, tax work, and reporting across the group. It covers TDC Ltd, the Parent Company, and related departments and subsidiaries. Core duties include preparing TDC Ltd monthly management accounts and notes for Executive Directors and Managers by the 10th working day, reviewing accounts for departments and subsidiaries, managing local and overseas payables, keeping trade payables in transit and accounts payable aligned with the general ledger, and handling duty-free rebate submissions to Government Customs and the Ministry of Finance for the Home and Building Depots in St Kitts and Nevis. The role also includes fixed asset reviews, VAT and withholding tax reconciliations, Sagicor group health insurance payments, FCIB salaries account reconciliation, trade receivables clearing, tenant billings, expense reviews, shipping journals, and daily system journal posting. Back-up work includes TDC Ltd tax computation, TDC Pension Plan accounts, quarterly demand deposit statement reviews, VAT allocation, quarterly updates to the TDC Parent trial balance and word file, and intercompany sales and purchases reconciliations.
