Job Description
This full-time Technician (Electrical) role with TDC in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis focuses on creating, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment. The work also includes setting up, installing, servicing, and repairing office equipment, computers, printers, UPS units, appliances, and other peripherals. The position supports the Service Manager with IBM Service contract calls and SITA Service calls. It also covers the delivery, setup, and installation of new equipment sold by the company, including copiers, computers, fridges, stoves, and washing machines, along with demonstrations for customers and user training. Additional duties include reporting daily on field issues, submitting a daily summary worksheet, keeping the repair shop clean and organized, helping maintain vehicles used by the ESD, and supporting spare parts ordering, safeguarding, and verification. The listed qualifications are passes in at least 6 CXC subjects including English and Mathematics, a diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical services, and competence with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
