Job Description

The Temporary Online Sales Associates role with TDC in Pinney’s Estate, Nevis supports the company’s e-Commerce sales and order fulfillment operations at The Home and Building Depot at Pinney’s. The position manages online customer service and sales activity, helps process online orders, and serves as a link between online customers and the retail departments responsible for fulfilling orders. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing orders through TDC’s e-Commerce platform, assisting with online payments and refunds, confirming product availability with warehouse and retail teams, sourcing and uploading product images and descriptions, communicating with customers through designated channels, monitoring online order fulfillment procedures, preparing weekly and monthly reports, supporting after-sales care, and working with internal teams and third-party vendors to complete orders. The role requires strong customer service skills, clear verbal and written communication, sound judgment, the ability to work independently, knowledge of inventory tracking and product verification, confidentiality, teamwork, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and point-of-sale software, and a valid driver’s license. The work environment may involve long periods at a computer, frequent phone communication, repetitive movement, reaching, stooping, bending, walking or kneeling, overtime, weekends, and movement between departments to locate products. Minimum qualifications include six CXC/GCE subject passes, including Mathematics and English Language. An Associate’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. At least two years of experience in customer service, order fulfillment, or inventory management is required, and supervisory experience is a plus.
